Development of Social and Emotional Communication Lab (DSEC Lab) at Queen’s University in Ontario

Camp STEAM is proud to support the DSEC Lab in their goal to understand how children and adolescents develop emotional communication skills. Read more about their research project, and how you can get involved.

Child Interviewing and Witness Lab (CIW Lab) at McGill University in Ontario

Power to Girls

Power to Girls is an organization dedicated to supporting and empowering Black and marginalized girls by providing programs and support for personal development, mentorship, mental health and wellness in the Greater Toronto Area as well as Ghana. Camp STEAM is partnering with Power to Girls to support them in a reserach study they are conducting with Women and Gender Equity Canada.  Learn more.

Canadian Association for Girls in Science (CAGIS)

The Canadian Association for Girls In Science (CAGIS) is Canada’s largest and longest-running STEM club for girls and gender diverse youth aged 7-17. This award-winning club, founded in 1992, supports interest in Science, Technology, Trades, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with virtual programming and local clubs that visit labs, workshops, and field sites to meet mentors and do fun, hands-on activities.
