Kids World Records
At Camp STEAM, we believe it’s never too early to break records! Throughout the summer camp season, on each Friday, our campers will get the opportunity to immortalize their impact in STEAM by attempting an official Kids World Record!
Our 2025 Kids World Record Attempt
This year, Camp STEAM campers are invited to participate in the ultimate egg-citing engineering challenge! We’ll be going for the Kids World Record for Most Kids Dropping an Egg.
All About the ‘Most Kids Dropping an Egg’ Kids World Record Attempt
Just like everything we do at Camp STEAM, our campers will be encouraged to use their curiosity and creativity, as well as engage in teamwork and problem-based learning, while they tackle the task of achieving their own official Kids World Record.
Here’s what’s involved:
The Goal
This Kids World Record is all about creating a unique design that will cushion our campers’ eggs from the impact of a drop.
The Approach
Campers are encouraged to think creatively as they experiment with different materials to find the most effective design for their eggs’ survival.
The Materials
A wide range of materials will be available for our campers to experiment with, including recycled materials.
About Kids World Records
Kids World Records’ mission is to offer children aged 4-16 the opportunity to make record-breaking history while competing on a fair playing field. Based in Toronto, Ontario, the organization provides a safe and supportive platform for children to achieve remarkable feats, share their extraordinary stories, and inspire a sense of wonder. We’re thrilled to have Kids World Records as our community partner.
As a Kids World Record holder, your camper can receive an official certificate from Kids World Records with their name on it as recognition of their achievement.
